my first attempt at cat-eyes went pretty well i think! i wore them + my nebula dress out to dinner last night. my second outfit i wore this afternoon, and the dress i borrowed from my mom + rocket dog shoes. the dress rubbed off on my chest, though, and everything (and i mean everything up until my tights) ended up with a blueish tint
(from the screencaps alone, you'd think she spent the whole movie just staring sort of confusedly at everything) while it's only my 15th birthday today, i watched sixteen candles for the first time last month during a spontaneous brat pack-a-thon with my dad, and it's now my second favorite john hughes movie (the first being ferris bueller's day off, of course) i was a little hesitant to accept becoming 15, which sounds really ridiculous, but i'm genuinely scared about little things like "the future" and "accomplishments". i think i've come to terms with it for now
and one day, hair-god willing, i might be able to successfully copy her 'do hopefully that day will come soon
